At the beginning of the project, during the teachers’ training days in Altentreptow, Germany, students and teachers were informed by an eTwinning Ambassador about the good use of the web, safe navigation, netiquette and copyright.
During the project work the students used flipgrid to introduce themselves to their peers and to inform about the Christmas traditions in their country. They made short videos and talks about their families, likes and dislikes.
Furthermore, we made use of the platform Wonder.me and students got the chance to communicate with other groups according to their interests.
We also used the platform of webex to communicate before the live meetings in each country. It was a good way for the parents to meet each other. The students and teachers already communicated a lot via instagram groups and whatsapp.
Moreover, the students created some historical quizzes on kahoot for their partners to solve. They have used common google presentations to present some historical topics that they were assigned to before each educational trip. Of course they were enrolled by the teachers into the old Twinspace and they have created their profile there and uploaded useful material.
They have used apps (such as cupcut and tiktok) in their cellphones in order to create videos about their school and they have uploaded the material on youtube and on our google drive. They have also used the app “google photos” in order to upload the pictures from each European week in a common parcel.
In our Twinspace we had a page suggesting some web tools to the teachers and students which could be useful for future reference.
