Our Collaboration

All the partners collaborated throughout the whole project. We also collaborated with our school organizations to get prepared for the European weeks of hosting. To reach this goal, we made use of modern technology a lot. Concerning the teachers: We have used emails, whatsapp, skype, wonder.me, google meet, facebook, flipgrid. We have had constant communication to solve any tiny problem that could appear to keep the project going on well, to organize the meetings well and keep the pupils safe online. We also had an initial teachers’ meeting in Altentreptow, Germany, to organize all the aspects of the project and to do the planning. We got trained on the eTwinning/Twinspace platform and we planned some of the activities. Furthermore despite the various obstacles caused by the pandemic we did not get intimidated and we continued collaboration both online and during the live meetings. In the end, (after asking for a one year prolongation of the project) we managed to find some nice solutions and we managed to do all the pre-designed mobilities. Concerning the students: Students have used social media to collaborate. They have created a common instagram group in order to talk about collaborative activities. They worked together on the flipgrid in order to introduce themselves and the customs of their country. They used wonder.me and they got the chance to communicate with other groups according to their interests. This was possible because into the wonder.me the teachers had created virtual rooms of different interests. During each European week we always formed different international groups that had to work together on our topic about History, like in Spain with the comparison of timelines. Especially in the beginning of each visit we organized some warming up activities that helped the students be blended together Also during the educational trips the students had to work in internationally mixed groups. Students have collaborated online via google presentations and they uploaded all the material that they have created in our common google drive with the help of their teachers.
